About Us
Gwen Corban, Executive Director
Gwen, a licensed social worker, has served as an Executive Director for a Community Action Agency of Lake County, a Guardian Ad Litem for custody cases and Mediator for the court System. Gwen has vast volunteer experience and looks forward to bringing her special skills in helping New Directions for Living’s clients.
Kimberly Baker, Case Manager
Kim, a Registered Social Work Assistant and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant, is a Case Manager at NDFL and has earned her Bachelor’s Degree through Youngstown State University. Kim demonstrates the patience, creativity and passion to work with individuals and families throughout the communities we serve and exhibits genuine concern for all clients and their unique individual needs. Kim hones into a client’s talents, interests and strengths and uses them to help them move toward self-sufficiency.
